Snoopies5378 • 13h ago babysit them until mama comes back. If not, start picking names because you now have two kittens!

Stay_Good_Dog • 13h ago You won the kitten lottery! CONGRATULATIONS!! It's kind of like the baby boxes at the fire department. "Here, human. I'm over these two."

They look old enough for kitten wet food and they probably aren't nursing any long or she wouldn't have left them. I would keep an eye out for her to come back. She may check in on them, she may bring more, or she may have just dropped and run.

Check em for fleas and give em a bath. Then give them a box with a blanket to sleep in.

Mkayy_8285 • 13h ago • Edited 13h ago This happened to me once, a male stray I was caring for preferred to be outdoors (only showed up when he was hungry or lost a fight) one night I heard cats fighting and I looked outside and saw him dragging a kitten‚he left (dropped) it on my front door and dipped ... come to find out he was the father ③, and that kitten was the runt and unable or to weak to fight for a feeding spot, so he brought it to me to take care of it, never felt so honored

Loud-Pain6316 ⚫14h ago ⚫ Edited 14h ago They're adorable. They also kind of look like you got a greyscale and a sepia tone of the same baby. Congratulations if you were looking for kittens. If you were not you may want to reach out to a local foster agency or animal shelter.

zhenyuanlong • 13h ago Keep an eye on them! Momma will likely be back for them. Feral cats often communally raise kittens and trade off litters with each other so nursing mothers can eat, drink, exercise, etc. She is handing her litter off to you to keep an eye on them, feed them and take care of them and give them back to her when she comes back! She trusts you and sees you as a member of her colony.

Pray4Mojo73 • 14h ago This is more or less how I got my boy. He was covered in fleas and had worms. I treated him and 15 years later he's still living his best life. Anyway, good luck you are now their chosen human, enjoy the servitude.

ohsnapbiscuits • 13h ago LOL congrats! That's how my grandma got her kitty Mary (who passed away in 2023.) A cat came by, dropped off a little kitten at her house and then went back, got another kitten (he would be named Edward) and dropped it at my grandma's neighbor/friend. She only had two babies, but came around to feed them, check on them, etc. The house this poor mama was from wasn't the best and must have known that these two old ladies would take care of her kittens.

Mary lived to be 18 years old, very loved and such a sweet kitty. Miss her every day!
